Candy Cane is a Christian Child Care Center that began in 1983 by two school teachers that wanted a place for their children to learn, grow and excel academically. The foundation of that dream is still our goal today.
We offer a loving environment for ages 6 weeks to 12 years. As well as participate in the CACFP food program to ensure that the children have healthy, nutritious meals daily.

Candy Cane is looking for enthusiastic preschool teachers to grow with us and create an inspiring place to learn, play, and grow!
Explorers Learning Center preschool follows a Reggio-inspired curriculum that is both structured and flexible, blending thematic units with an emergent curriculum style. This means we have clear learning objectives and daily lesson plans, while also encouraging our teachers to explore topics that captivate children's interests.
By integrating children's questions and curiosities into the curriculum, we foster a love of learning and ensure that education is relevant and engaging.
Our preschool is open from 7am to 5:30pm and our work shifts are designed around each classroom's individual needs.
Teachers will be involved in:
Setting up classrooms
Creating and following Reggio lesson plans and activity schedules
Leading games and activities
Providing loving child care tailored to each individual child's needs.
Ensuring the safety of all students and staff
Assisting with lunch and snack procedures
Guiding students in appropriate behavior and setting good examples
Giving students a fun and memorable experience
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Requirements:
At least 2 years of child care experience (paid or volunteer)
High School Diploma or college transcript
Driver's License
Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation

Summary
We are seeking a cook to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals that support our children's health and well-being. Your contributions will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our young learners.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning and meal preparation to meet the nutritional needs of children.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal times.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Schedule is 7:30am-4:30pm daily.
Requirements
Experience with cooking and food prep is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
